I’ve still got a little ways to go to be where I want to, but these photos were taken at about my 8 week mark of working out with Trainer Kelli and Level 212 Fitness! I keep talking about it, but this app is literally one of the best things that ever happened to me! I actually work out multiple times every week and enjoy it now! I really have not been doing very well with my meal plan if I am being totally honest because I went on vacation and I moved! So all of my progress is mostly just from working out! I think I’m going to see much more when I start really focusing on the meal plan, but I’ve added my progress photos so far below this post! Would you just look at this lattice back bra frpm Titika Active? Are you dying? Cuz I am. Titika Active has such creatively designed tops! I want all of them! And their clothing is incredibly soft! It’s perfect for working out in because it’s just so comfortable!
Currently I am starting my 9th week in my training program with Trainer Kelli and Level 212 Fitness. These photos were taken around 6 weeks or so. At this point I was having a really really…like really..hard time. I was starting to feel better about my cardio and I felt like I was getting stronger, but I just couldn’t see the results, so I was getting very frustrated with myself. My pants were getting tighter, which was not my goal! So if any of you have already started a program and gotten to this point, you probably know exactly how I feel. And for those of you who are going to start, just keep in mind, that I think for the most part we can use the phrase “it gets worse, before it gets better”.
I wanted to post these photos that were taken about a month an a half ago or so, when I first started my training program. In my mind I am a little soft, and my legs aren’t as lean as I would like them to be. My face even looks a little puffy. But what can I say, this technically was after the holiday binge. Not to mention, that a sweatshirt covers a lot!
I sound a little depressing, but I think that is what started motivating me to work out again. 100% honest, I was not happy with how I looked, and I have said a million times I am super hard on myself. Since I have started working out with Trainer Kelli, I have so much more motivation and I feel so much better. It’s not even about “being skinny” or looking a certain way. I do want to be in shape and I want to feel good in a swimsuit this summer, but working out has been such a great outlet for me mentally that I am so happy I started!

This is a hard post for me. I have been extremely lazy about working out this year. I had been swamped with work and blogging, and I was just exhausted. One of the first things to go was the gym. I just didn’t have time. Besides the fact that my body obviously did not stay in shape, I noticed a huge change in my mood. You know the whole endorphins thing (think Legally Blonde)…well it’s true.
The past few weeks I have been working with Trainer Kelli through the Level 212 Fitness App. I’m starting to see some progress already, but I think the biggest change is that my mood has improved! I feel happier and like I have more energy. I always thought I would get more tired if I worked out, which happened at first, but overall I feel much better and have much more energy during the day. I also sat down with Kelli this week and we went over how important wellness in all aspects of our lives is to our health! While I am working out with her app about 3 times a week right now, I am adding some wellness components to my training. My project for this week was to make a list every night of the things I like about myself. Surprisingly and sort of sadly, this was really hard for me. But as the week has been going on it’s getting easier. Which is also why I decided to do this post.
When I first got these photos back I did not want to post them. I am not in shape. I am soft. My arms aren’t toned and my jeans don’t fit right. I have always been small, but there is a big difference between being skinny and being in shape. I have struggle with being unhappy with how I look for a long time. I have tried extreme diets and I have gone about “getting skinny” in some unhealthy ways in the past. With Kelli’s training plan I am hoping that I can adopt some healthy ways to get in shape! I hope this will be motivating to you guys as well! So I decided to still post them because I am trying to have a healthier view of myself. I don’t need to continue to dwell on or list all of the things I dislike about my body, but I can work on improving them. This is where I am starting. This is a good motivator to get back in shape and improve myself as a whole. I think being able to feel about myself mentally is just as important as keeping my body healthy and in shape. I can’t wait for you guys to come along on my journey and see the results!

You guys I think this might be my new favorite athletic brand! MPG Sport is freaking cute, but super comfortable! Kira Grace’s cutout details are quickly becoming some of my favorite things! I love all of their yoga apparel and these little details just make them stand out so much to me. My leggings AND the bra are from their line and you probably just need them in your life. They are fabulous quality! Not too thin and so soft!
Chi Chi Active (fun fact..it’s actually pronounced “she she”) embodies the “live in your activewear lifestyle. You can wear it to work out, but you can also mix it in with your normal wear to create fun every day looks! I am a big fan of these camo leggings. They’re so comfortable, but also supportive, and hello! They’re cute! Also look at some of their sweatshirts, because I think those items have to be my most favorite, especially if you’re wanting to mix them into your every day wardrobe!
I feel like I always lean towards black for workout clothes, but these Kira Grace Warrior Leggings have changed my mind. I love love love this royal blue and I think the cutouts make them so fun! I love putting together outfits and finding things that will stand out, so why wouldn’t I do it with my workout clothes too? The fabric is made of moisture wicked supple/spandex so handle sweat so I think these would actually be perfect for a Bikram Yogi class too!
