Just got back from warm and sunny Las Vegas for a little family trip and I’m kind of bummed out because it’s so cold in Utah again! Why does spring have to be so unpredictable?
The first thing I did when I got home was throw on these super comfy camo sweat pants from Shop Jessa Kae! Not kidding, they are so soft and I got them in a medium so they would be a little bit bigger and slouchier!
The weather took a little turn again and it’s rainy and cold, so I thought it would be perfect to bring back a spring sweater! The cowl neck on this sweater from Lulu’s is so eye catching! I love that it’s a cropped sweater, but still looks oversized.
And of course I have my trusty Nena & Co. tote because it comes in so handy and just seems to brighten my day! I love the yellow pattern! This is one of their artisan bags and I love the print mixed with that gorgeous brown leather. P.S. They just partnered with L*Space (one of my favorite swim companies) for a collection and you need to check it out while you’re shopping!!! You’ll thank me! It’s gorgeous!
I’ve been wearing tons of blue lately. You can probably tell from all my posts :p I’m not sure why but it’s kind of my go to color this spring! I love this swing dress from THML because it’s so cute, but I’m kind of obsessed with the little tiny animal print on the neckline! I also love this bring blue crossbody bag from Henri Bendel. I tend to go for bigger bags, but lately I’ve found that having a small bag is so much more convenient. If I have a big bag I take too many things with me. This is perfect for going out at night or running errands! I’m still gonna take my big bags to the movies so I can sneak treats in though :p
The 3B Shop from 3B Yoga has the cutest workout clothes! I am obsessed with these printed leggings from Onzie! I also was never really a fan of crop tops, but this one is perfect! It’s super lightweight and it’s not so tight that is squishes you! You guys know what I’m talking about…haha. Plus it’s only $38!
I’ve still got a little ways to go to be where I want to, but these photos were taken at about my 8 week mark of working out with Trainer Kelli and Level 212 Fitness! I keep talking about it, but this app is literally one of the best things that ever happened to me! I actually work out multiple times every week and enjoy it now! I really have not been doing very well with my meal plan if I am being totally honest because I went on vacation and I moved! So all of my progress is mostly just from working out! I think I’m going to see much more when I start really focusing on the meal plan, but I’ve added my progress photos so far below this post! You can check them out there and remember, that’s really JUST from working out!
I’m so ready for spring! The weather has finally been nice for a few days so you know I’m breaking out my dresses! I love the Maya shirtdress from Vici Collection because it’s got long sleeves just in case the cold starts to creep back in, but I also just love this cute print! I’m all about prints this season!
Plus, this might be my most favorite Henri Bendel bag ever! I love the whip stitch detail and it’s the perfect size!
What are your go-to items for spring?
If you hate florals, you’re going to hate me this spring. I love them! This print on this blouse from Tolani, takes it from a regular neutral to a statement piece! And I especially love the fringe ties as well! I also paired it with two of my other favorites trends: a mini bag and mules! I was hesitant to try mules at first because I’m short, but I love them! I think it elongates my legs a little bit more with the pointed toe. Of course, my mini bag is from Henri Bendel. I love the quality and the details that all their bags have!
Would you just look at this lattice back bra frpm Titika Active? Are you dying? Cuz I am. Titika Active has such creatively designed tops! I want all of them! And their clothing is incredibly soft! It’s perfect for working out in because it’s just so comfortable!
Currently I am starting my 9th week in my training program with Trainer Kelli and Level 212 Fitness. These photos were taken around 6 weeks or so. At this point I was having a really really…like really..hard time. I was starting to feel better about my cardio and I felt like I was getting stronger, but I just couldn’t see the results, so I was getting very frustrated with myself. My pants were getting tighter, which was not my goal! So if any of you have already started a program and gotten to this point, you probably know exactly how I feel. And for those of you who are going to start, just keep in mind, that I think for the most part we can use the phrase “it gets worse, before it gets better”.
I can’t stop wearing bell sleeves. I love the drama they add to an outfit. This gorgeous spring dress was sent to me by Lulu’s and I can’t decide if I like the sleeves or the neckline more! What are your favorite trends this spring? These are two of mine!
I probably have about 20 white blouses, but you know what, they’re just my favorite. I think they’re clean looking and you can wear them year round! They go with everything and can work for almost any occasion. I love this Free People one with the crochet detail on that back, and I love the price even more at Macy’s! They have tons of markdowns throughout their site, but a bunch on your favorite items from Free People, which just happens to be one of my favorite brands! I’ve linked a few of my other favorite Free People blouses below (most are on sale!!!!)
