This outfit is probably something you will catch me in almost every day this fall. Booties, jeans, and a sweater. This is my comfort zone. I have been trying to branch out more and be “more fun” if you will, but I just love a good sweater. I always love a good tall boot, but this year and towards the end of last winter I just fell in love with short booties. I thought I couldn’t really wear them because I have short legs, but I got over that. I also like to mix a little bit of masculine (the plaid) with a little bit of feminine (the jeweled sweater), to create a blended look. I think it makes the outfit a little bit more interesting.
P.S. The fabulous sweater I’m wearing is from J.Crew and everything at J.Crew is 25% off through today with the code: SHOPNOW. (also, free shipping!)

I had been waiting pretty much my whole life to do this! I got to swim with dolphins twice on this trip so I was in heaven. The first time I told you about in the first post about Hawaii and it was amazing, but this was totally different because I got to touch her and ride her! It was so fun! We went to Sea Life Park on Oahu and actually got to interact with a bunch of animals, but swimming with dolphins was obviously my favorite! I love them so much!
I don’t know if you guys know how terrified of sharks I am…like literally I was having the worst anxiety about it before the trip. Of course it didn’t help that Shark Week was the week I went and there were two attacks in Hawaii right before I went also. I literally was having panic attacks and sweating over it. I was fine if I was distracted when we were snorkeling, but then I would freak out and have to calm myself down. I realize this is completely embarrassing and irrational, but it’s true. When I was little I used to be afraid that someone put a shark in the pool or in Lake Powell. But in Hawaii I’m pretty sure it’s a legitimate concern. The week after we left there were two more attacks.
Instead of the shark dive, we did the ‘Ray Encounter’. They had their stingers still so it was a little dangerous…BUT not really. I guess they don’t sting unless they feel threatened and it’s a last resort. They were really cool though. The way they feel and move is not like any other animal. I was glad we did this one. There were also TONS of fish in the tank, that were eating out of our hands. It was awesome.
Also, my mom sent me this video to make me calm down about the sharks and I thought it was pretty funny, so enjoy!
Both, Nicole Richie and Kourtney Kardashian, look gorgeous in this black and white Stella McCartney dress so it was hard to pick my favorite. I love that Kourtney mixed it some red with her lips and clutch, but I’m not as big a fan of the heels and gloves. I LOVE Nicoles make-up and the fit on her, so I think I have to pick her. What about you guys?
Ok, I know I have been complaining about the cold, but I do really like the fall. I love October. I love pumpkin patching, and Haunted Houses, and the leaves changing. I love when it just starts to get cold. It has already snowed here twice, which seems really early, so I hope that means we aren’t in for along and terrible winter. However, I love to pull out my gloves, scarves, jackets, boots…etc.
This is just a little pumpkin patch right across the street from my house. I get to watch them grow all year long. I love the tiny little ones. Perfect place for a fall photo shoot in my new fall jacket right?

Just a few more Fashion Week pictures to swoon over. This time from Milan!
Valentino Leopard-Print Calf Hair & Leather Rockstud Pumps
I love tights and dresses for fall. I kept seeing this cute leather trimmed dress at a bunch of different boutiques and I finally decided that I had to have it. It’s perfect for fall if you add some tights so you aren’t freezing! I love this dress because it’s not tight and uncomfortable. It’s the perfect material! Stretchy and warm! Not to mention the touch of leather. If you want to try the leather trend, but aren’t sure about a full leather skirt or dress, this would be the perfect way to do it. THML makes the cutest sweaters and now I’m so glad to know that they make great dresses too! I love this brand.
