Just a quick little post of an outfit that I wore to my friend’s baby shower. It was a little bit rainy this day, but I just can’t wait for spring, so I put on a dress that I got an Anthropologie last year that I was in love with (see here!) and threw on a lightweight sweater over the top so I wouldn’t be too chilly. Had to add my glitter booties too! I almost didn’t get these shoes, but they have been basically my favorite pair of shoes this spring. They go with everything and I love them! Plus I got them on sale! Yay!

I am literally obsessed with this Editorial in the May issue of Vogue featuring Carey Mulligan for the movie The Great Gatsby coming out May 10th. I also am obsessed with the movie. I cannot wait to see it. (see the trailer below and tell me that you’re not excited too). I loved the book in high school and I’m re-reading it before the movie comes out. I think the Carey is perfect for this role. She fits that era so well. Just look at these pictures. And Leo…well he’s Leo…ahhh. I’m just so exicted.
These photos are just amazing though. I can’t get over it. I think I found the inspiration for my Halloween costume.
And here is the trailer…OMG AMAZING!!!

This video is hilarious…just a little humor moment for you.
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen in a long time. I think that every girl should watch it…actually just everyone. So please watch it and share it.
Dove had an FBI sketch artist come in, without seeing any of the women, draw them how they described themselves. Then he drew them how a stranger who had just met them described them. When they compare the pictures it’s amazing to see the difference. They don’t even look like the same people. We are so critical of ourselves that we miss the things the other people love about us…the things that we should love about ourselves, or at least the things that we shouldn’t let bother us. We’re all beautiful in our own way…I definitely need to work on seeing myself in a better light and I hope this video helps other people to do the same.
It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, so get ready for this…

After a rainy and cold few days I’m so glad for sun…it’s windy, but it’s sunny. So I’ll take it. These shorts are from last year, but J.Crew has so many cute shorts right now. I just ordered some and I cannot wait for them to get here. So I broke out this pair from last year because they are one of my favs. They are lightweight and loose and match with everything.
As you can probably tell I have been going through a major J.Crew phase lately. This sweater is also from J.Crew and I can see a lot of wear coming out of it.
Anyway, I’m up for a busy weekend. I have a bachelorette party, a wedding, a baby shower, and then a bridal shower monday…plus I have to catch you all up on the past two weekends of baby and bridal events. I guess I’m at that age where all of my friends are heading off to bigger and better things. Maybe I should get on that 🙂
